Welcome to the Danish Quality Assurance Group website
Danish Quality Assurance Group (DKG = Dansk Kvalitetssikringsgruppe) is a networking group for professionals with an interest in Quality Assurance particularly in the areas of GLP, GCP and GMP regulated work. The purpose of the group is to strengthen the QA activities through contacts, discussions and information.
DKG was formed more than 20 years ago and has currently more than 200 individual members representing more than 50 different companies and organizations. DKG stimulates contacts between persons from private companies and public institutions and provides contacts to professional organizations and regulatory authorities. DKG establishes a forum for discussions of QA relevant topics through membership meetings in focused working groups and through broader membership meetings.
The membership meetings are the core activity of DKG. Typically the working group meetings are hosted by the home company of the members, who invites fellow members for a few hours discussion on quality issues of common interest. Such meetings may include presentations by professional lecturers, funded by DKG. DKG also arranges training courses to members and thus provides a valuable and highly affordable alternative to professional training. DKG is throughout its activities a non-profit organization.
DKG is a key collaborator for the Danish Medicinal Agency in relation to providing industry input to relevant regulations and guidance documents. DKG is member of the European Quality Assurance Confederation (EQAC) and collaborates with the American SQA under a Memorandum of Understanding. The closest international collaboration however, is with the Swedish Association of Research Quality Assurance (SARQA).
Every second year, the two societies arrange the DKG/SARQA Scandinavian Conference on Current Status of Quality in Research and Development. At three occasions the conference has gathered about 100 participants who spent two days with intense QA-related presentations and discussions. Each time, the conference has been very successful in attracting high quality speakers from international organizations, companies and authorities in Europe and USA.
The collaboration with SARQA has grown through out the years, and now we have an agreement that members of one of the societies can participate in meetings of both societies.
